Jacksonville Tutoring Specialists provides tutoring for children and adults in Jacksonville, Florida and beyond. Specializing in reading intervention and remediation, we use the Barton Reading and Spelling System® and Phonemic Awareness Programs. Our programs include the Heggerty Phonemic Awareness and Equipped for Reading Success by David Kilpatrick.

In addition to tutoring and helping those with dyslexia, we are committed to the education of dyslexia throughout Jacksonville, Florida. We advise parents, teachers and administrators about accommodations for dyslexia students and help make parents aware of important warning signs of dyslexia.

What is the
Barton Reading System?

The Barton Reading & Spelling System is an Orton-Gillingham, one-on-one tutoring system that will greatly improve the spelling, reading, and writing skills of children, teenagers or adults who struggle due to dyslexia or a learning disability.
