Screenings – If you suspect your child may have Dyslexia we can screen them for tutoring which includes a needs assessment.
Specialized Tutoring – customized to directly address their weaknesses
Assistive Technology Consulting – matching the best programs, devices and apps. to help accommodation
Advocate Services – Meetings with School Admin., Teachers, Learning Specialists, ESE, Psychologists

Our Plan:

Our tutoring program is a one-on-one customized instructional plan based on the needs of each student taught in a nurturing environment. This may include any of the following programs:

We offer tutoring:

In person at one of our locations
Remote
At student’s school

Frequency:

A minimum of two, fifty minute sessions a week is recommended to see improvement in your child’s reading and spelling abilities. We strongly advise three or more sessions a week.

How early should I begin?

The earlier you begin the better your child has for catching up to grade level. Starting tutoring in Kindergarten or First grade provides the best chance for them to achieve grade level work. Improvement can be achieved at all age levels but the earlier intervention is begun the greater the chance for continued improvement. – Dyslexia Paradox

When will you begin seeing results in your child?

You can expect to begin to see slow steady progress within three months after the start of tutoring. It’s common to first see a change in attitude and self-confidence followed by a steady improvement in reading skills and reading pleasure.

What are your fees?

Tutoring: $60 per session – a minimum of 2 x a week (sliding scale if needed)

Screenings: $185

Consulting Services: $75/hr

Is the time and expense really worth it?

Hiring a specialized reading tutor is a big commitment for your child and family but the rewards are significant and life-changing for your child and family! Reading is a gift that lasts a lifetime!
