Consistent, explicit instruction is necessary for children with difficulties in reading to become functional readers.  This service must be available to all, but despite parents’ ability to cover some of the costs, they need help to continue.  Tutoring typically takes between 1-3 years, depending on the student and their skill level.  We work with them for a minimum of 2 days a week.
